2. The Ministry of Youth and Sports

is deeply invested in the growth

and development of esports in

Malaysia. This commitment extends

to our ongoing support for Mobile

Legends Professional League

Malaysia (MPL MY), encompassing

venue facilitation, official support

and most importantly, the integration

of the National Esports

Development Guideline (NESDEG)

into the upcoming seasons. This

strategic collaboration ensures a

sustainable and well-structured

esports landscape for our youth.

A THRIVING ESPORTS LANDSCAPE:

EMBRACING A NEW ERA IN

MALAYSIA

3. Our aspirations soar high, fuelled

by the dream of seeing Malaysian

teams claim the coveted

championship title at M6. This

year, we envision a wave of

participation across all levels,

from the budding talents nurtured in

the MLBB Academy League

Malaysia (MAL MY) to the seasoned

veterans battling it out in the Mobile

Legends Professional League

Malaysia (MPL MY).

4. We aim to see our national teams

shine not only in regional

tournaments like the Mid Season

Cup (MSC) but also on the global

stage at the M-Series/M6 World

Championship.

5. We are also pleased to see

Malaysian corporations such as

Hotlink, to lend their support in

pushing the Malaysian MLBB

esports ecosystem to the next

level.

6. The community now are able to

leverage on Hotlink's 5G network for

unmatched network latency,

improved gameplay experiences,

and also more gaming servers for

East Malaysia. I also look forward for

upcoming social impact initiatives by

Hotlink and MOONTON Games,

especially Hotlink Campus Attack.

7. Beyond competitive excellence, we

strive for a new era of

professionalism. The National

Esports Development Guideline

(NESDEG) will serve as a roadmap,

fostering a sustainable and well-

structured league that elevates the

status of esports in Malaysia.

community, and that's why we're

actively integrating key third-

party tournaments like the

Malaysia Esports League (MEL),

Esports State League (ESTL) and

Moonton Student Level (MSL) into

the official ecosystem, including

those co-organized by the Ministry

itself. This collaborative approach

fosters inclusivity and empowers

local talents to rise through the

ranks.

roaring fans cheering on their

favourite teams – that's the future

we're working towards. We

encourage all Malaysians to rally

behind our national heroes as

they vie for glory at M6. This

collective support will not only

bolster their spirits but also

showcase the immense potential of

Malaysian esports to the world.

goals. We extend our hand to the

agencies, seeking partnerships

that will propel esports forward.

exciting opportunities for our youth,

especially those aged 15 and above,

to engage with esports in a

meaningful way.
